Abstract Plastics is seeking an experienced Plastics Fabricator/ CNC Operator with a minimum 5 years' industry experience to join our team. Someone with a desire to work with management and contribute to improving its operations to grow the business.

 

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate proficiency across the following areas:

• operating CNC machinery/laser technology  

• plastic cutting, bending, gluing, shaping

• plastic welding

• machinery maintenance

• managing and maintaining stock inventory

• recycling off-cut and minimising plastic waste

 

Key requirements include:

• contributes constructively to the ongoing implementation of improved safe work practices

• organised and able to follow production guidelines with attention to detail

• can consistently deliver high quality work efficiently

• team player – willingness to collaborate with others and share ideas to achieve the desired outcomes for our customers and the broader team

• understand and interpret design plans and drawings

• ability to work unsupervised

 

Desirable:

• forklift licence

• first aider/first responder

• white card/working in confined spaces/heights
